Charles Binnington was born at Bridlington, Yorkshire on 23 January 1894. He was the son of Henrietta Binnington North Gate, Hunmanby, Yorkshire and joined the Royal Navy on 8 April 1913.
He is commemorated on the Chatham Naval Memorial Panel 30.
