Charles Kettridge Savage was born at Bethnal Green, London on 27 July 1888, but he served just as Charles Savage. He was the husband of Lilian Taylor (formerly Savage), of Eastney, Portsmouth, by whom he had two sons, Charles and Frederick.
He is commemorated on the Portsmouth Naval Memorial Panel 29.
