Francis Hobby was the son of Mr. J. W. and Mrs. M. Hobby, of Blackfriars, Southgate St., Gloucester.
He was lost overboard from HMS B10 which was operating from Tenedos in the Aegean Sea.
He is commemorated on the Plymouth Naval Memorial, Panel 5.
