Sidney Holloway was the son of Mr E and Mrs H Holloway of West Croydon, Surrey. He was the husband of Violet Maud Holloway of Tees Street, North Ormsby. He succumbed to heart failure following influenza in Haslar Hospital and is buried in the Middlesbrough (Linthorpe) Cemetery.
