William Howell was my best mate, and his loss to me was like the loss of a brother. Life hasn’t been the same since he passed, and I think of him daily. He had the most infectious laugh, lighting up any room he entered. His passing was hugely upsetting for me and the rest of his shipmates in the RN. Rest easy mate and I’ll see you again.
He was my cousin and I miss him very much. He is still loved and missed dearly by his family all the way to Canada.
