Francis Bailey was the son of Mrs. Ethel May Bailey, of Ford, Wiltshire. He was a member of the crew of HMS MEDWAY II, and he is reported to have died in HM Hospital Ship MAINE from an abscess of the kidney resulting in peritonitis.
Edgar Bailey of the Little Astin Golf Club, Streetly, Staffordshire is buried in the Malta (Capuccini) Naval Cemetery in Malta in the Protestant Section (Men’s), Plot F. Coll. Grave 124.
