Austin Ormside was the TI (Torpedo Instructor) in HMS AMPHION and died of a heart attack on 23 February 1962 whilst the Singapore based submarine was visiting Cochin (now Kochi) in India.
He was given a full military funeral and buried in Immanuel Church Cemetery, Kochi, in grave N25.
