Sadly this was my grandfather. My dad died not knowing any of this information. It’s so comforting to know they have not been forgotten. We have visited the memorial in Chatham and I believe another is in Portsmouth. I understand the Sterlet has never been found although many searches for her and other lost subs still continue.
