John Sharpe was born on 25 June 1892 at Egham, Berkshire, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sharpe, of 3, Leacroft Rd., Staines, Middx. He was invalided with tuberculosis on 21 February 1917 and died on 31 December of that year.
