HMS

E37

 (1915

 -

1916)

HMS E37 (Lt Cdr R F Chisholm) was lost with All Hands on 1 December 1916 in the North Sea. She had sailed from Harwich in company with E54. E54 felt a violent shock at about 2300 that night and at first thought she had struck wreckage. Upon reflection, however, E54 attributed the shock to E37 striking a mine.
