HMS
USK
(1940
-
1941)

HMS USK (Lt G P Darling) was less than a year in commission when she sailed from Malta on the 19 April 1941 for a patrol area off northwest Sicily. Six days later she reported that she was withdrawing from the area to Cape Bon owing to intense antisubmarine activity. Nothing more was heard from her, and it is presumed she was lost with all hands in a new minefield off Cape Bon, Tunisia, sometime after the 25 April.
