It has been widely advertised that national rail will give all serving personnel and veterans free travel throughout London for the November Ceremonies.

Submariners Association Chairman Iain McKenzie has since communicated with national rail informing them that our national remembrance is 6th of November not the weekend after.

Thank you for your email. As veterans or military personnel, we can confirm that Submariners are able to access free train travel to attend Remembrance events. Thank you for flagging that your official Remembrance service takes place on Sunday 6th November. I can confirm that submariners will be able to access free travel to attend this event and am working with train companies to ensure this message is passed to frontline staff.

Therefore anyone (serving/retired) attending the weekend should be able to claim free rail travel on Sunday the 6th of November
