Families rejoiced as they were reunited with their loved ones after a lengthy deployment.

Families and crew members of the latest successful CASD patrol came together again, after months apart with minimum communication.

While on patrol, family members can send an electronic message (family gram) once per week, which is limited in characters that can be sent.

Crew members are not able to respond, therefore the families will have no way of hearing from their loved ones while they are away.

This makes the homecoming of an SSBN patrol all the more special.
