This year the inaugural Dena Rogers MBE submarine family award was presented to WO1 David Bathgate. The award was sponsored by Karen Rogers and the Rogers family after they lost their beloved husband/father/grandfather Dean after his battle with cancer. Dean served in the RN Submarine service and left as a WO1 before joining RNRMC where he re-vamped the pay roll giving scheme many of us contribute into today.
All in all it was a great night where so many familiar faces met up once again.
