MESS MATTERS.

As the junior rates mess for HMS Agamemnon we wanted to take a positive and forward approach toward building an inclusive mess that everyone could enjoy for different reasons. This will continue to be utilised by all future generating platforms operating out of Barrow-in-Furness.

We received combined funding from RNRMC and The Submarine Family to enable us to create a relaxed environment where all junior rates can unwind.

From the funding we received, we have been able to make huge mess improvements, including; 65” inch TV, pool table, PS5, kitchen upgrades & more.

The JRs of HMS Agamemnon wish to express their gratitude for the funding and for the ambient atmosphere it has allowed us to create and enjoy during our working days.
