This weekend, the friends and family of HMS Vengeance personnel were rejoicing as they welcomed their loved ones back home from deployment. The homecoming celebration is an important event that not only allows families to reunite with their loved ones but also serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by those in the Royal Navy and their loved ones at home.

In addition, the homecoming celebration can also improve morale among the personnel returning from deployment. Being away from home for extended periods can take a toll on the mental health of those in the armed forces. The homecoming celebration provides a much-needed break from the rigours of deployment and allows personnel to decompress and reconnect with their loved ones.

The Submarine Family were in attendance to show our support and talk to those who were attending the celebration. The opportunity to talk and connect with our community and support in areas of need will continue to be our focus.
