HMS Neptune celebrated the king’s coronation weekend by having an outdoor celebration.

All base personnel were invited along to the festivities, which included the Neptune volunteer band, pipers, DJ, food stalls, beer tent and representatives from various HMNB Clyde organisations and charities, including The Submarine Family.

During the vent, the WO and senior mess presented The Submarine Family with a wonderful donation of £1700, presented by mess president, WO1 Mac McLoughlin.

A great day was had by all who attended.
