Happy Birthday Maxey

In March 1941, Alec ‘Maxey’ Maxim followed in the footsteps of his father and uncles by joining the Navy. He began his training in Gosport and spent a week in the ‘tank’, followed by three weeks in Blyth where he underwent testing for the Submarine Service. The Submarine Delivery Agency (SDA) and Babcock have achieved a significant milestone in their ongoing submarine decommissioning efforts.
