Following a lengthy period of isolation and operations, HMS AMBUSH wanted to give back to their families. After some worthwhile fundraising at sea, AMBUSH applied to The Submarine family and RNRMC for support in a Ship’s Company Ball, which took place at Grand Central Hotel. Families of the Ship’s Company were treated to an evening of entertainment including a casino, live band and an incredibly competitive raffle.

Commanding Officer, Cdr Oli Morrow said “My ship’s Company and I are delighted and incredibly thankful for the incredible support provided by the Submarine Family and RNRMC; The opportunity to provide an evening of entertainment to our families really helps pay back to them the absence of their families over the last 24 months of intense operations and isolation. There is no better way to thank them than to include them in our post operational events.”

LO, Lt Gallaher said ” Thank you to the TSF, their support was class”
