The UK DISSUB Support Group (DSG), based in Faslane, recently took part in a vital NATO submarine rescue exercise alongside 10 nations. This operation demonstrated international collaboration in the event of a submarine emergency.

The UK DSG led the intervention phase, deploying two teams to the DISSUB datum. They successfully established communications with the senior survivor of the designated submarine using a portable underwater communication system.
